I have a set of those 17" Rock Warrior Rims that I wanna put on my '08 LC. I believe they are an 8.5" wide rim, or maybe an 8" wide rim. I'd like a set of big A/T tires that will give me that roundy-ballooney, doughnutty look.

I had an FJ62 that had 33x1250's on it, but they were on 15" rims. They were Maxxis 751's and they looked pretty cool. That rig kinda had that doughnut tire look, and I'd like to get something like it.

What tire size am I after to go on my 17" RW's?

I'd like to see some pictures. Who has pics of a 2Hundy with big fatso tires?

the look your talking about(I think) is usually brought on with smaller wheels, i.e. 15 inch, maybe even 16 inch. The problem when you start running 17 or 18 inch wheels is that 33's or even 35's don't bubble out like that as much because there just is not as much sidewall there. I would say the best chance you have to get that look is some wide 17 inch wheels(17x9 proly) and 35's! This will give you the best chance at a bit of that "bubble" look.... hope that helps!

How's this for a "bubble look"?

That look is SHUH_WEET!!

Is there a big difference between 35x12.5 (or, as some say, 1250) 17's and 285 75 17's?

I'm not understanding the numbers.

I'm planning a OME lift (by Slee). Do I need anything else to fit 35's?

no problem - it helps

What do you guys think of these? Got some big lugs on these babies!!

They are sweet and mean looking. I'd be cautious as they are pretty fat / gerthy. My Nitto's are 12.5 in width and there's not much room in between the outer most edge of my UCA and the inner most part of my tire. But theres another guy on here and his tires are Duratrac's and those are 12.7 in width.

...and he said his duratracs are a bit too wide. If you want to run 35s without rubbing on the UCA, you will have to stay with Nitto as they run true to size. I will say that the trail grapplers really like to sling mud and rocks. I am noticing a ton more grime on my panels since switching to the 35s.

Rigger, the OME lift is 2.5", which is fine, but you may want to think about something a bit higher if you plan on 35s. I am at 3.25" of lift on mine, and I can't imagine going any shorter. As a matter of fact, I am in the process of getting mine closer to 4". Just my $0.02.

Those look great!! What are they? I can't read the sidewalls.

You will need their sway bar relocation kit, bump stops as well as a lift and some trimming. I would have them do all of the work when you take it down there.

I believe Slee is running the Nitto in an MT on their 200. Give them a call and they will walk you through it all and answer any question you might have.
