For Sale Tire Carrier Blowout

I think I need the full carrier. I have a 77 that I have an oem FST dropdown tail gate for. I want to be able to carry a spare on an oem carrier. I don't think the one I have which is correct for my 77 will work with the tailgate. If this thinking is right, then I need the full carrier. TIA for your help.

You would need to drill all the holes in the passenger side of the tub, and reinforce the sheetmetal on the inside of the tub to support the hinges. You can call me for more details.

Clarification. I have had several inquiries from people looking to get whole carriers for $20. Please read the ad carefully before contacting me. I have a lot of carriers that are complete, but are not part of this listing, and a lot of parts, some of which are.

I have a '71 carrier complete with hook for $260 plus the ride.
I have a '72 without the hook for $125 plus the ride.
The dune beige one is my nicest. With hook and cushion it's $350. I have a rust free,scratched up white one for $50 less. HTH

Fair enough. To be honest from my end, $50 is not worth the risk to me of pulling it off a carrier that is only currently missing one hinge, only to subsequently find that hinge and know I killed a good carrier for a $50 sale.

Now if you were buying some other stuff as well...

This carrier is no longer available. I took the tire carrier on Ruftoys apart yesterday. I had forgotten what a rough shape it was in. I cannabilized the yellow carrier. Perks of owning the place.
