Just got my 37" krawlers mounted and balanced on replica tundra 17" rims....good lookin' lx450 now!!
...best part...balancing was a freakin' breeze, unlike all my other experiences.
found a shop that balances with the GSP9700 (RoadForce, puts 1400 # of pressure on the tire for bead seeting, and other funky balancing calcs). It also does a matching process (he recommended that that only be done for high speed cars, not large tires like we run), so I didn't order that menu item. But did get everything else that machine has to offer...and at 15 bucks a wheel (mounted, on another hunter with rubber cleats and super soft operation, and balanced).
All I can say is that it WORKS!!!! The first time he put weights on, was the ONLY time he needed to...after that they all read 0 oz. Worst tire was 4.75 oz best tire was 2.0 oz. Now that's awesome...and I attribute that to this machine , it is not only pretty but performs flawlesly. Used sticker weights to keep rocks off.
so in the end, I highly recommend chassing down one of these machines for balancing your meats.
