I have a ton of pine needles and leaves that are stuck in the cowl and louvers and would like to remove the cowl and clean under there. The FSM isn't very descriptive and after looking at the cowl it didn't seem too obvious to me what it takes to remove it without breaking it.

This is the cowl just underneath the windshield.

Thank you!

You have to squeeze the little plastic clips holding it in along the cowling. There are maybe 8 of them. You will likely break a few. Just pick up some new ones from the local Toy dealer.

Remove wiper blades.

Remove rubber sealing strip forward of the plastic cowl...rubber strip has the little plastic clips mentioned above, and it is a good idea to get a few spares.

eta...a hemostat is a big help in releasing the clips.

Grab a BF vacuum cleaner with a narrow nozzle and go to it.
