My children like to ride in the 3rd row and I can see the potential of the area pictured getting destroyed. Any tips on what to do? I though of getting that clear clinging plastic, but I can not seem to find any without any type of print and not sure if they make it thick enough.

I use the WeatherTech cargo liner. There are cutouts for the seat mounting locations. I have been pleased.

I do too, but mine does not go under the middle row. You could go to an RV supply place and get some of the self stick carpet protection film they use on RVs on the lot. My best suggestion would be a piece of industrial carpet tile velcro'd to the area.

I constantly find small crap that my kids drop in the wells where the seats latch on - found some Smarties in there last week!

Apologies to the OP --- I wasn't paying attention that you were asking about the area under the middle row seats. I would agree with Billfish and go 3M scotch guard.
