The passenger side came out fairly easily, but the drivers side axle is being really stubborn. I've got the flat spots on the birflield lined up with the top and bottom of the knuckle and can pull it out a few cenimeters and then it just gets stuck and won't budge. What is it getting hung up on do you think? I'm also trying to be somewhat gentle with it - do I need to just say F it and yank super hard? Stilling getting used to how much force I can use / is required for some of this stuff.

Hoping someone has some tips. I also don't understand what the best transfercase configuration is for removal. By that I mean, is it better to be in 2wd or 4wd - otherside hub locked or unlocked - whole front end jacked or other side on the ground?

Will it help to remove the knuckle bearing caps? I feel like that won't make much difference, but I'm out of ideas.

Thanks.
