I am doing a head gasket job and I’m at the stage to put in a new timing chain tensioner.

I can get:
* duralast from autozone for $17
* oem for $50
* ratcheting type from wits end for $90

I have 318000 on the clock. Replaced almost everything on the top end during the job.

Does it matter much?
Thanks fir any info in advance.

Get oem or the Wits’end. I’m sure the tensioner from autozone is probably fine but not the place to save a few dollars.
