Timing chain dilemma

So I’m in process of changing my timing chain, however the new timing chain kit that I ordered has different guides. The car is a 1994 fzj80. My question is will this fit and why is it different, maybe Mr T upgraded the design over the years? by the way, left guides are old ones and to the right are the new ones.

I got the same part number, but for some reason my old ones that I took out are shaped differently. Pls help

Install them done. The guide is a newer design to prevent the plastic from delaminating. The slipper is probably a newer design also. I have installed these two parts on 7 or 8 1fzfe with zero issues.
