Eric that looks great, looks to be really thought out. Do you intend to bolt these above the top of the frame rails as if the "bucket" creates tension?

thanks all ... They will be bolted above the frame (held in place with presure) and i hope to see many trails with them. It's just taking me a little longer then i thought to complete.

i really like that idea of how to bolt them to the frame!! That's a knock off ( :) ) of someone else's design, but it's the right idea IMHO! SWEEEEET! You'll have fun beating on those things.

well i kind of borrowed ideas from 4 or 5 slider designs and morphed them into somthing i wanted. But, I am pretty much making it up as i go. I got the cat guard built today and will finish the remaining frame mount tomorrow and burn it all in, and post up some pictures in the next day or two. So far i am pretty happy with the progress.

almost there....

i got them primed... ran out of light gray but found some dark gray on the shelf so i figured it would hurt anything. I will finish painting them this weekend and slap them on...

all done !!

Well I could have taken a little more time on them but really, they will be beaten on rocks not cruising a mall. I rattle canned them yesterday and then Garrett and I got the slders mounted this afternoon. They turned out pretty good if i do say so myself. :o
Here are a few pictures.

Thanks...

basically the kickouts push you away from an obstacle right before you drop off the slider which reduces the chance of getting the obstacle wedged between the slider and the tire.

Eric - they look awesome. Congrats on getting them finished up, whats next :)

Just back from Richmond this afternoon and start painting more on the winch parts. I am ready for it to be finished as well.

Thanks...

Cool, knew there had to be a reason. Learn something new everyday, least try to.

Great work! Look real nice. Now let's go mess them up :)
