I bought my first cruiser a couple of months ago, just brought it out on some trails for the first time last week. And the result were a bunch of smiles and a popping noise and a loose driver's side tie rod, I believe it is the inner. Lots of thoughts on this, could it have hurt my pitman arm? I found a full tie rod kit on coolcruisers that looks like a pretty good deal, is it good quality? Another route that crossed my mind was doing a hysteer kit, because I'm planning on lifting it soon but will it work in the mean time, i looked around on an answer but i found nothing. Thanks!

The Joint Fuji 4 peice set from cruiserparts.net is good quality Japanese. $OR.com buys their sets from cruiserparts.net then mark them up. I highly recommend NOT getting the rebuild kit that requires you to put new cups in your old relay rods. The savings is not worth the hassle. Avoid anything made in Taiwan or China. These are steering components and not a place to go cheap.

Nice to know cruiserparts.net has the joint fuji. They are OEM, but about twice the price of the Japanese 555. Trouble is their website is crap.
Still available from Toyota, but you have to buy the Tie Rods and Relay Rods, too.
Replace all the TREs and RREs, it sounds like it needs it.

Just bought the kit from Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters. Ordered it on Tuesday and had it on Friday. Took an hour to change them all out. Great quality and great service. I'd recommend using Kurt.
