Ticking, please help. (1 Viewer)

I just bought a 2018 Taco, my first, and I want to be jazzed but there is this ticking sound making the engine sound pretty ugly. I got it with 75k miles and this guy I know had his with 95k, but his engine sound like a purring kitten. My friends say get my valves adjusted, but my brother (mechanic) says its a waste of money.

What do you think? What should I do??

I wanna be happy about my purchase again.

It's normal. The 3.5 is stupid loud. Just use good oil every 5~7k, and be happy.
