Not as good news... dirtroads jinxed me and there’s a leak. There’s some water on the floor and it didn’t come from the open vent pipe.

It’s rained several times since I bought has been dry as a bone til now. I’ll head over in the next storm to try and catch it.

After thinking about where the water appeared to originate, I think it was just from a leaky hose connection.

The only hose bib is inside and landscapers had the hose with a sprayer on it, probably under pressure, all day. Fingers crossed it was just leaking from the bib and probably can be fixed with a rubber hose washer.

Stand by.

Obviously you don't understand the implications of interacting with me. That ^ is standard procedure, I wish I knew how to fix it.

Ya boys might show up with a freshly repowered NPR landscape truck this week. I put about 30 miles on it today with nothing but good rattly vibes.

I'm enjoying this shop build thread as much as actual Land Cruiser build threads. Keep up the good work!

Work to the building has slowed until I get caught up on some customer work (anybody need a job? Serious), but the landscape guys are killing it.

I used a customer test drive as an excuse to go check up on them.

The last obstacle they had was this stump that was growing right next to the neighbors building. Technically it is theirs, but I am going to fence this area in and claim it, so we need to tame it best we can.

They knocked down the abandoned wall from the long-gone back building that was behind mine, pulled the chain link back and cleaned this no-man’s land of debris last week.

The stump was the only thing left.

We were going to dynamite this thing out, but that building is the local American Legion Post. Not wanting to trigger a war flashback and face a bunch of old, armed vets, we decided to just remove what we could and try to slowly kill it over time

They’re also putting down the limestone in the back today. They were about half done when I stopped by.

They are also putting down fabric/limestone between the buildings and in the narrow gap between the old slab and neighbor buildings. Hopefully @jfz80 approves.

The landscape company is owned by a fellow cruiserhead, btw - Elliott Lawns, LLC.

Great folks, give them a shout if you are in the area and have needs. I highly recommend them.

s*** gonna be stacked so high so soon

No joke. I can see where shops get into trouble. Future customers beg to bring vehicles and leave them, thinking it will speed up the process or at least use you for storage. Doesn’t matter how far out you say you are.

Then post on the internets that it takes you forever.

It looks suspiciously like one of those radio telescopes from the Very Large Array...
