Threads Closed?

Not sure if I missed a Memo on this, but it looks like threads that have not been posted in for a while are now Closed?

I have gotten guidance that I can PM a Mod and ask them to open, but this is not great logistics if one only has a minute or two to search something in between work tasks...

I just found an interesting thread: https://forum.ih8mud.com/60-series-wagons/469197-h55f-disassembly-home-made-sst.html but I cannot post a question.

I have PM'd the Mod for the section (shows up as Rigger) but need to wait for them to be available to open thread.

Why are some threads being closed?

There are a bunch of threads on this in the Help forum...as noted already, spammers were targeting old threads, so I closed any over 6 months.

Please use the REPORT button so one of the mods can address it and reopen the thread.

Thanks Woody, I feel like I am the opne who is easily confused these days...

We are in the Help forum, yes? I didn't see any threads on this topic on Page 1, so I thought I would post it. Not sure how long this has been an issue?

Any way to make legitimate, mature MUD members able to post in these threads?

Do you mean the Report Post button in each post?
