37x12.50x15 IROK radials. SOA, stretched wheelbase, cut rear fenders with the large Man-A-Fre flares and MT Tube fenders in front. Cheap steel wheels with Staun internal beadlocks.

Fantastic off-road. Great traction on rocks and snow. Pretty good wear on pavement, but I can't say how they'd be for a DD as I only occasionally drive mine on pavement. Road noise is fine in my opinion.

33x10.50 Super Swamper Boggers about 10,000 miles on them.

80 percent on road (was my daily driver for a while). Still have half tread depth. Typical swamper flat spots in the cold, sounds like a low flying helicopter on the highway.

Offroad they always bite- I've never not had traction. If it's really soft they'll dig to the frame, but usually I sink to the hubs and keep going. Sidehill isn't great but not as bad as you'd think. I don't hesitate on sideslopes but I am cautious.

2.5" lift, stock rims, and they tuck in the wells with no rubbing to speak of.

I'd agree with that. Try starting a introduction thread with pics and questions. That's a good place to start and learn to use the search function. Read and eventually ye will find.

I am running BFG 33X9.5 15's on both the 40 and the 55. Have a 4 inch lift on the 40, stock on the 55. I love the tire and the profile, but it sucks that BFG discontinued that size, and both sets I have are over 10 years old, so I can't even get them serviced most places. I drop them down to 12lbs off road and they do all that is asked of them. I've been told that to find that profile, I'm going to have to go to a 16 inch wheel.

I guess I will have to eventually bite the bullet and go 16.

Hoping for a little tire input here. Took delivery of the 40 last week and it's clear new tires are needed. It's currently running BFG ATs 33 9.5 R15 with a date code from 2006. I believe the suspension is stock on 5.5" steel rims. I'll do some light trail riding and some Central Texas hill country pavement. Trails can be rocky (small limestone and granite) and country roads tend to be loose gravel. Here are the 3 options I'm considering. Just wondered if you guys had any feedback. Thanks in advance!
