Wanted Thoughts on this 78?

I've been in contact with the seller of this 78. He is selling it for his 79 year old father in-law. His father in-law is the second owner and has owned it for about 25 years. He states that the body is all original, no patches or rust through. He also has no top or doors for it. He said the underside is a mess because the previous owner put undercoating on it and his father covered it in grease/oil every year. His father in-law had it resprayed about 15 years ago, not sure why.

He father in-law said $10k for it. I guess I'm looking to see if it's a decent price if everything checks so I don't waste my time. And how difficult/expensive it would be to find a top/doors.

Cool Truck but no way that a 1978.
Looks like a 1972 or 73 soft top model.
Maybe the seats and tail lights came from a 1978.
