Wanted to know if anyone on here has ever bought this bumper.

I purchased front and rear bumpers from these guys about 4 years ago for my WJ. My experience was horrible. They told me it would ship within one week of the order being placed. It took almost 6 months before I got the bumpers. They told me they would not charge my credit card until it shipped. They charged it 5 minuts after my initial order. Then 6 months later when they shipped, they charged me again. It took forever to get that straightened out. The paint was paper thin and flaking off on delivery. Fitment was horrible for both bumpers and required a lot of cutting, grinding, hammering, rewelding, and redrilliing of poorly located holes. Areas that were hard to access with a welder were caulked in a welding pattern to look likt it was welded. Welds aren't supposed to be soft and flexible. It seemed like I was one of the first people to order one of their WJ bumpers and they didn't quite have it dialed in yet. It has been almost 4 years and I want to know if they ever got it together. Can they now make a quality bumper? Any personal experiences with these guys and the 100 series rear bumper?

Seems like they're going by the old adage Cheap, Fast, Well-made... pick one. So, they make crappy bumpers AND have crappy service. Killer business model right there.

I would like to see this one unpacked... Wait... Oh, I thought this was the box the bumper came in ;)

I'v only ever heard horror stories about dealing with them. I know they changed their name because the got so much negative feedback as kennesaw mountain.

I guess there are a few versions of the same thing! Cheap, fast and reliable - pick 2

Mostly made in China or at Corn Bread's weld and go shop. The front bumper could use a complete makeover. No style or real functionality. BIOR and Slee's make their rear bumper look really bad. Trying spruce it up with lights just doesn't make the grade.
I'll spend the extra money to get something worth while.

When I order one it will be a BIOR. If it can done without my wife knowing what was spent.

It seems like you've answered your own question. Buy once cry once. Had lesson to learn when cash is on the line.

if it was 4 years ago then yes I answered my own question. I just wanted to know if they got their act together over the last 4 years or if its the same crap they continue to pull. I would also love to hear some actual feedback from somebody who has this rear bumper. Want to know about fitment, quality, welds, and overall strength of design. I just don't want to be the guinea pig for the second time. I was the first WJ Guy to buy their bumpers and it was horrible. I was hopeful that the 100 series guinea pig had already stepped up. If nobody has any experience with this bumper then I will just move on.

I don't get it: OP had a terrible and rude buying experience and now is contemplating a return down the same path and would feel more secure in his decision with buy-in from us. Love it.

How many more real and credible bumper fabbers do we need?! Although I am satisfied with the Slee first gen rear bumper I bought in '05 I would have appreciated today's selection even more...just say'n.

I know, it's does seem like a stupid question. My wife was even shocked when she saw me looking at their rear bumper. She remembers very well the nightmare I went through with them last time. I just wanted to know if things changed. Mayy companies have a rough go when they first start, but often get it together over the years as they learn the business and perfect their prodcut, timing, quality, fitment, customer service, and many other things. Maybe that wasn't the case with these guys.
