This is weird...what are your thoughts?

I bought my son a GX 470 and removed the air bags, replaced with OME shock and a lift, cut the switch for the height adjustments a three years ago. Last week he started getting the Air Bags "off" light going on and off randomly. This has never happened previously. What are your thought as to why and what's the fix?

Your sure its the suspension airbag light and not the actual airbags in the steering wheel and dash ?

The airbag light on the dash refers to the ones that deploy in a collision. Mine go nuts when I carry heavy stuff in the passenger seat.

I found this photo of the dashboard lights (not mine) and I don't see a light for the rear spring air bags. This one shows KDSS and that's how you can tell it has KDSS.

Unless he's referring to the height control "off" light.

Yeah, OP did mention the "off" light. It's the ghost of yesteryear.

You have to pull the Fuses and relays.

Thanks for the insights everyone...I have not seen a photo of what lights are coming on and off...so I have sent your responses to my son to further diagnose and try to figure out! I appreciate your comments and help!

My son sent me a photo today and the light that is now on is yellow that says OFF, that is under the LO, (from the Hi N LO) column of options. This has never shown up previously....and it's so odd that all of a sudden it has come on! It still drives just fine obviously...just a new electrical gremlin we are trying to chase down! Fun times!

That is just the height control light. I'm not sure why it just started doing that- I pulled my air suspension out a couple weeks and it starting blinking immediately. It if bothers him, he can pull the appropriate fuses/ relays. This thread covers what has to be pulled.
