this is our competition; that's one brave spotter! I know these hardly ever do this in the real world owners but they can. Toyota has to keep up

Check out this video on YouTube:

G-wagon is looking good, though it appears they're at a public park, next to a cookout stand -- ??

The RR guy is so annoying I can't sit through it.

The G wag is capable but I don't like what it looks like. Agreed on the RR vid. Can't watch it. The RR is a truly awful rig. I'd never buy one.

I'll stick with my Yotas!

:-)

G wagons are just ugly enough to be beautiful to me. Definitely capable, but was surprised at the lack of articulation?

RR guy was annoying for sure, but funny at the end when that steering column broke again as he was wrapping up the filming.

not trying to fight but I believe the lift and super duper shocks etc are not needed unless you are doing the King of Hammers or some rock climbing. The hole that guy was standing in had to be at least 4 feet deep; the approach and departure angles along with the lockers makes it do the super stuff. Same thing with the the idea stuffing 40 inch tires on rigs; I don't think that makes a vehicle more capable off roader

G wagon video was cool, especially when the jackass stuck out his arm to do what, Hold himself up? Spaz. And I know all to well about rover ownership.....never again.

crazy, saw the guy stick his arm out of the window. was waiting for the spurting blood.

Lol, arm out the window.

Forget the amatuer driver, did you see the lack of common sense from the "professional" trainer. No sense of safety zones i wouldn't be surprised if they don't walk you through what's going to happen or even give a safety debrief before the drive. Who in their right mind jumps into a ditch with a vehicle three wheeling right above it and grabs onto the tire?

Hell when I was invited to test drive the M6 on a racetrack they gave a full safety course and the correct posture in case of a crash or rollover

LOL I mentioned that in the first post; crazy for him to be climbing like that so close to the vehicle or even getting almost under the front when walking from side to side. I really think the guy driving has never been off road or done something like that; the german guy filming was laughing at him when he put his arm out.

I almost can't watch it, the spotter is a candidate for the Darwin awards.

I thought the RR video was a hilarious reminder of why we don't own one. I remember on one episode of Top Gear the air suspension failed and one of my co-workers could not get the driver side door of her RR to open and she had to climb over the passenger seats. Nobody seems to ask if that kind of crap is normal.
