Third Member Question

Will a FJ40 1978 front third member fit into a FJ40 1972 rear? Both are 4:10 gears, just want to make sure it will bolt in with out to much work. Thanks.

Yes it will.

Companion flange at the diff will not be the same pattern as your existing drive shaft if it still has the stock 1972 drive shafts...
