thinking of parting out my fj62 landcruiser ;(

Ok i just installed a used motor. I new i should have installed a new oilpump but the guy i got it from swore i shouldnt have to and that it was a good motor anyway. Oil pump took a shyt now i got a knock. Im tired with the shyter.

I got a good auto trans transfercase tourqe converter shifts great had the transfercase gone threw no abnormal wear on anything and everything looked great.i have no idea what this is worth can someone give me a idea?
I got two radiators 2 altinators 2 intakes and fuelinjectionstuff. 1 comp, ac compressor nevr used it needed a charge spns freely. good door glass my window lock buttons dont work right so dont ask boutthem

actualy the truck was till sound minus the dents i did.
SOmeone put rocks in the old motor wich blew it up they stuck them in the valve cover. When i bought the new used motor and trans i asked the guy if i should replace the oilpump he said he wouldnt that he would just install it do tune up and drive it. Wich si what i did. I got the motor installed the week of thanksgiveing wheeled it couple times localy motor ran good just had a miss in it some times. Then i finaly drove it on a 120 mile round trip and 60 miles into it started knocking on me. Ide hate to get rid of the truck due to it haveing room for my kids wheelchair and stuff. I juist cant aford to keep fixing a dam ricer when the parts cost so much .


my body isnt in that good of shape due to dents and stuff. i have no facotry mirrors on the outside of it. only had one on it when i bought it and a tree took it off. i got good glass all around.

Trans and transgfercase is butter i love it.
i got the driver side window controll but not the rest of the buttons.
rear bumber riped off on a tree.
all accesorys are good i got two of everything except the ac comp only got one of them .
2 radiators.

Grill is gone from a tree when i had the truck two weeks.
rear axel is good needs brakes doesnt leak that i no of anywhere seal wise

front dif needs birfs replaced repacked or soemthing the drivers front clicks when in 4wheel drive*
good front rear drive shafts and swaybars

good computer someone please give me a idea of what all this is worth . i have no clue thats why i made this thread to guage intrest and get aprox value of the things i got for sale. im so pissed at the truck i may torch it and run it threw the woods.

It is hard to guess really....sorry your distription is under a grand at best.

Take a brake then pull the pan put new rods,mains and oil pump in and call it a day is what i would do

o it does have good passenger side rear door minus window button decent front passenger and decent rear driver side door. when i find my camera i take some pics

also nobody gave me any cluse to what the parts i listed are worth.
I had the transfercase swaped from the old trans to the new trans and it was dissasembled for the swap all looked great inside splines were good gears were nice.

tranny 500 bucks transfer equal or less.......shipping is the deal killer

Yea a transfer tranny combo for 750 is a fine deal.

Rear diff is worth no more than 100 bucks

Question....was any of the power steering pumps leaking? If not then 100 bucks a piece is a smoking deal for a mudder.
Ac compressers i could not tell yea.

Alternaters heck 25 30 bucks. Along with the starters

You must consider this when selling used parts.

half of the price of a new one is the rule of thumb BUT with the shipping costs a dude needs to come down on his price just a little bit more to get the att. of a possible buyer.


BUT YOU SHOULD DO FINE parting this thing out and you will make more than selling it whole.

Im realy considering buying my buddies 4 runner it only has three little bubble rust spots on 2 fenders. pluss i have a toyota mini front dif sitting in my ward that may have the same gearing as the 4runner. that im considering if i buy the runner i do solid axel swap on it

ide love to sell everything at once for one negitable price. hell u can hear the truck run and take it hole if it make difrence im just considering my options right now. man befor this stuff happen i was about to order bobby longfields piece by piece tho

I got so much money invested int he dam thing . its by far a beutyqueen these were taken befor i did the motor swap still looking for the camera i will be keepign the rims and tires tho.
