121 each or pair?
3d printers is a great tool like duct tape and a set of pliars. They are usefull in emergency and getting it together until you have the correct tools available like a nut and bolt or a torque wrench. 3d plastic printers are super cheap right now as a printer 300-1000 dollars. Super cheap up front cost but you have to make a CAD model and then after the print is done you have to bondo, sand, and paint. And you will probably have to make about 2 to three version to get the right fit and finish.
Price break down: Side vents.
I would probably spend about 16-40 hours making the CAD model to be exactly like the originals. I charge roughly $70-$110 per hour for re-engineering a product or machine. I have access to a $15,000 & $100,000 3d printer. It takes about a hour of setup before and after. These side vents would take about 4-6 hours to print. And then about 3-5 hours of post printing clean up, bondo sanding. And then off to paint. And if I were to sell these or actually charge you as a customer/client... Somewhere in the $300-$600 each. I work closley with a 3d printer shop and there minimum price is 75.00. But you would get the coolest 1/4" dowel pin made out of plastic.
And after you paid me, you get a piece of crap plastic that won't last more than 2 winters in Minnesota or 2-3 years in Arizona sun.
Take any of the operation or cost and do it yourself and maybe save some money. But you will never get to $122 for one or two of these original pieces from Toyota. great deal.
The price is per louver.
DAYAMN!
But damn, new gaskets too. And mine are hardened and brittle as sin...
And you get the grommets and screws.
The way I look at it--originals lasted close to 30 years on mine. $160 to replace is fine in my book.
