These new aluminium "steelie" wheels from the fjcompany are pretty sweet!

Only thing better is 16" wagons, not that I have any, mine are 15s.

Those are dean wheels (afaik) with screw on clips to hold the caps

I don't think they are Dean wheels....a little different. They're cool though and a much better deal than Deans which are costly and hard to get. Deans are double the cost of these if not more.

Forgot I was in the 40 section.....here are some Deans on a 40 we're building. 16x7 I think but we ran a 1" spacer...the 16x8s hit the tie rod end as I recall. These are 33s on a Dobinson 2" lift. Great setup.

Man that looks awesome! So those are 16x7 and they rubbed?
What source do you use to get deans?

They were 16x8s that rubbed(we took them off one of the trucks at the shop that has them). 16x7s fit with that 1" spacer.....that is what is on the truck in the pic.

It is very very hard to get any info from Dean about backspacing or what they run. The 16x8s fit on the 80s very well. I think Dean does a 6.5" one....maybe a 6. Can't recall.

I can bring in the Deans...just be prepared to spend. A lot.

These aren't Dean's.
Bolt on clips. Pretty slick.

I deal with wheels that are in the 3k to 4k EACH range....the Deans are cooler than all of them. Ha. They actually look really cool without hubcaps too. Neat face under the cap.

Fjcompany stamped into them as well...

These look sweet! Ordered the cool cruiser powder coated steelies mounted 33x10.5x15 BFGs. Trying to reach @Poser so we can figure out when we can get these new shoes mounted on my 77 40. Has anyone heard from him?

The wheels are made by Braid. It is stamped on the wheel. They’re sweet, I still have to put my hubcaps on. I think it will look even better.

I know that 99.99999% of Landcruiser owners don't race the Baja, but here's why the Baja racers quit running aluminum wheels: When you bend a steel wheel on a rock, you merely hammer it back into drivable shape, and keep racing. When you crack an aluminum wheel on a rock, better hope you have a good spare, plus enough cash to replace the bitch.

Is that hoop on the back behind the factory roll bar for a "long" bikini top? I have been thinking about making something like that to cover the whole truck. How did you mount it at the base?
