I just got done weldin the roll cage together, all we got left is to put the tranny hump cover in it and mount the seats. BY GAWD THE BEATER'S GOIN TO ARKANSAS :bounce2: :flamingo: Josh :flamingo:

Fro had to go to work out-of-town for coupla days .....

so I bombed 'er with some rattle cans .....

in the Official White Trash paint scheme. :grinpimp:

We puttin' 'er on a trailer tomorrow mornin' and haulin' 'er to the Ramble to beat the s*** outta 'er. :grinpimp:

I done the financin' and a little bit of work at the beginnin' and the end when I was home. :D

Fro provided labor every weekend. :D

Cheers to Butch for doin' the high-tech stuff and donated a whole s***load of parts and pieces. Couldn't of done it without him. :cheers:

But, By Gawd ..... Josh done showed his true colors on this one folks. The boy wrenches for a livin' then donated his time every weekend to do more of the same. He's one damn talented kid and sure makes us all right proud. :beer: :beer:

And a final thanks to the folks that gave us screamin' deals on parts to make it all happen. :cool:

quick question did ya'll use 40 or 60 axles ??? hard to tell with no fenders ???LOOKS KILLER
 
Holy crap that thing worked frigign excellent at the Ramble. Had some minor issues that were taken care of in camp. Crawled up and over everything we threw at it. Got some good video and pics of it. Fro went from driving a stock Heep at the Roundup to wheeling the crap out of this thing.

I had a Downey aluminum one, it fits on the Motorcraft just like the Holley........guess it was too bling for them to document with a picture......yes I took it up a really nasty hill, had a couple of 3ft ledges near the top and never had to touch the gas or clutch, pretty sweet for a thrown together rig......

For all you folks that heard that Gawd-awful noise from the engine at the Ramble ....

Fro done yanked the engine out and took 'er apart. Found the main bearin's were bad. Ordered new ones and gettin' the crank turned.

She'll be ready to roll again for ICBM. :grinpimp:

Fro done got the mighty "F" slapped back together with some new parts and pieces and claims he's gonna stab 'er back in next weekend ....

The beater lives again :bounce: Still got some clutch issues to address, but we got a new slave cylinder on the way that should fix it. Fro done went and painted the old F up chevy competition orange, and finished paintin the tub and frame. it'll be even purttier than before for ICBM. Josh
