Table with two of my tool boxes. Each weighs 60lbs. Table has no problem carrying 120lbs and is super stable.

We think so too. Let me know if you have any questions or any issues with the web site.

The website looks great!...

Just a few thoughts....

Seems to be a bit pricey initially....

but....

considering durability, function, reliability, and longevity into the mix....and based on the fact you'll probably never need to buy another table, it has true value. Looks like it's something that would be passed down from one camping generation to the next!

A few questions..

Is there a finished weight of the whole unit and the leaves?

Does the entire unit fit into a bag or carrying case...and does that case include room for the extensions?

Is aluminum in the future?

Thanks for taking the time to address the questions, and making a nice, pratical product to address an age old camping problem.

I'll plan on adding one to the trailer before the seasons over!

We were just having the same discussion on the GCLC mail list. The problem is that everyone is so used to buying crap tables, myself included. When a well thought out and manufactured product comes into that mix, folks initially can't stomach the price simply because they're used to buying cheap crap.

This is truly the last table you'll ever purchase. Onto your questions.

Weight is 30 pounds for the 60" setup including everything. 20 pounds for the base unit. I will add that to the website ASAP.

Canvas carry bags are included as mentioned on the site. The leg bag is large enough to include all hardware from the base table and 2 extensions. The canvas bag for the tri-fold top is also large enough for the 2 additional 12" panels.

We never really considered aluminum for the legs. Steel is easily powder coated and the weight wasn't the primary concern. We wanted something that after you're done cooking, you could rebuild your transfer case on it.

Aluminum has been tested for legs and base but by the time it was made strong enough not much weight has been saved.

Donald Trump ordered Platinum one. So that will be light and strong.

The problem we've had with portable or folding camping tables over the years is

1) the plastic end pieces on the legs and various plastic "clips" that are used eventually dry out, crack, and break.
2) various bungee cords or cables that hold these types of tables together tend to dry rot and break.
3) the legs or supports, if not thick enough, will bend and break (you see this in the typical 10x10 square shade shelters that you see a lot at campsites and flea markets)

We've had many tables over the years and they usually start breaking after 5-8 years. We're still searching for the "best" table! What type of corner table-leg connectors does yours use?

Inspiring work, love the execution. A little crazy expensive though.

Looks like there is quite a bit of labor in the table top. It's sure not easy to build folding AND solid is it?

very nice.

I think I need this.
We had a Honda CR-V back in college that we camped out of a lot. The floor of the cargo area was a standalone table that you could pull out. I loved it, so nice to have.
