SILVER Star
I was finally able to pull together the time and assistance (from a friend) to get the Diamond Rax rack on my Troopy! (pictures below)
I love the quality, stability, and added cargo capacity of the rack and how it's an echo of the Confer racks.
Still getting used to how it changes the overall aesthetic from retro ('84) to something in between with the more modern rack. And I still can't decide if in tightening the rain gutter towers (at 6'4", I was careful NOT to really crank down on them) I introduced a crack that has some water weeping out of the interior convenience lights. Gotta chase that one down.
My deciding to purchase the rack was, in large part, thanks to Greg Steffens at Diamond Rax, who throughout the process of educating me (a relative newby) was helpful, patient, and eminently professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the market for a roof rack.
