You're really making me want to get some cloth seats to try. I bought some extensions a while back, but I haven't installed them yet. I'm sure the extra legroom will be great, but they also raise it .75", and it's pretty bad as is.I just drove my 92 for the first time in a week. Holy s***. It is so much more comfortable to drive than the 93. The power seats in the 93 absolutely suck. I'm glad I have a spare set of 92 manual cloth seats to put in it. The power leather seats are absolute crap. I didn't think there would be that big of a difference but you sit a lot higher in the power seats. And they are stiff on the sides.
This just moved up the priority list. I need to pick a cloth color and tell @FloridaFJ80 so I can get this done.
Going to take the cloth seat frames and have them sandblasted and powder coated to clean them up.

Is that one the messican hottie, or the wife? You keep raggin' on that '93, and something bad is going to happen.
Trucks - particularly if kept as part of a fleet - have a way of knowing when they're being, ahem, 'disrespected', and they will get back at you.
I think the cloth seats from 91-94 are the same. They are different with the leather. The leather seats seem to have a stiffer/sharper side to them whereas the cloth seats as softer.
That's one of the first things he checked when he saw it

First real downpour since I removed the roof rack. She leaks like a screen door in a submarine.
And the lower corners on both sides of the windshield leak too.

Between Iowa and the crest of the Sierra, it's going to be cold. Really cold. You could stop and ski in the Tahoe area, otherwise keep going. That time of year in Northern California, it's a crap shoot. It could be cold and rainy, or fairly nice. What it won't be is warm. Though compared to Iowa it will be warmer.
I'd go and spend a few days sight seeing in San Francisco, and then north up the coast, then turn east to Clear Lake. Clear Lake is kind of an odd destination for the middle of winter. Is there another motivation for going there.?
