Onur, what do you know about possibly switching to an A750 transmission from an 03-05 into a 98-02? I have done some research on here but have not found anything useful.

If for some reason my transmission were to go kaput, i would much rather replace with the A750 than replace the current 4spd. My guess is that the TCU along with the transmission would be needed. I have read that the TCU communicates to the ECU, so i figure that would be needed as well.

Do you know what else would be needed besides the interior shifter? (without worrying about replacing the dash to match the shift pattern)

Another question for you Onur...

You stated back in '11 that you had plans to install the Nomad HD valve body. Curious if you did and what your take on it is if so?

this is a question for Christo or Ben from Slee. they have the most experience with the 100 series.

my amatuer guess would be that the conversion would not be cheap in the least.

I did not. I have a new A343F staring at me for my 80 and it will get the upgraded valve body when i eventually retire my 80 and build my new one.

Has it ever been confirmed that the P0715 code directly caused the transmission to fail? Or was it the first in a series of events?
po715 code in my case was just the speed sensor that is held in with one bolt on the drivers side was a 5 min job and the check engine light and the po715 code goes away... speed sensor off ebay less than $30... btw there are several that LOOK the same but the on center spacing from the bolt hole to the center of the sensor is different... it's no big deal to elongate the hole and make one of these work if you have to...
