I was thinking it would be cool to have a dedicated thread for pop up trailer modifications.? Maybe there is something small that you did that may not be that big of a deal to you but someone else might get inspired.

So if you got some Mods post the model of trailer, a pic and a short discription of the mod....

Thanks,
ken

WOW..the jacks were a brainstorm..now I'm booting myself in the ass I didn't go down the street and do the same. How far down do they go? Great mods, mod that baby to death!

As anyone done this with a M101? I know it wouldn't hang far enough down but what y'all used instead??

You come up with some of the coolest ideas Ken. The jacks are great, I imagine way cheaper than the same thing from an RV store. One suggestion, replace the funky jack handle attach point with a 1/2" nut. That way you can use a cordless drill to raise/lower the jacks.

No pictures but one of the best mods I did was to gusset the frame corners. I had one crack so I did it as a repair on that corner and did the rest as a precaution.

I also hot glued and screwed some extra blocking in the cabinet corners, again originaly as a repair that worked well enough to be done on all of them.

When we get another trailer I'll do both of these items before stuff breaks.

Do you use pop-up gizmos? They are the reflective covers on the bunk ends. They work great, here is a link.

I don't really have any good pics of them, but if you look close you can see my pop-up behind my 4runner
