We were a few miles west of Harrisonburg in the George Washington National Forest.
Also, i love these tires. This is my third set. They last a very long time with lots of highway use (had 50 k on the last set). They definitely make more noise than a set of AT's but are not nearly as loud as the KM2's. You can have a conversations at any speed in a normal voice. Handling off road is excellent. They dig in mud and clean very quickly in mud and snow. They all around have very good traction. I do not do any real hard core rock crawling, but the only drawback i have heard/ or have seen is that even aired down, you do not get a lot of flex out of the side wall. However, they are very durable. In my 3 sets, i have never had a flat. knock on wood. Also, even though they are not siped, they have excellent road handling and stopping in the rain. I don't really understand this, because they have very wide lugs, about twice as wide as an original bfg km mt, but it stops on a dime in wet weather. In all three sets, i have never had a vehicle hydroplane. (again, Knock on wood) Finally, they are a good looking tire with an aggressive sidewall as well.

Do you have a lift on that LX?
It is in "High" mode in the poser pics. Which is up about 1.5 inches in my rig.

The 100 just smoked the X-terra on the trail. There was no difference. His traction would make his hole car shimmy and not go anywhere. A-trac would bite on the LC and just walk up stuff.
Just annihilated whatever the X-terra could do.
He needs a sw guy to hack his traction control.
I hate being unlocked without atrac...like the xterra. My buddy and i tore up an xterra in his 200 this weekend though
In my search to see what goes on underneath the 100 during high speed washboard and offroad, I designed a mount for my camera (iPhone 4) and took a lap around the parking lot and drove on/off a curb.

More to come as I perfect my mount and make other suitable mounting spots. Yes, the music is repetitive and annoying. But it's better than listening to ticking manifolds and wind noise.

That's pretty slick.
The 100, by far, has the beefiest IFS setup of any road-legal truck.
I love my 100, but I would have to disagree - the AM General Humvee is a more substantial independent system, at all four corners.
