Awesome! You're braver than me—I don't think I'd be driving over my iPhone 4. What are you using as a support/tripod?

I'd rather drive over the phone than a $2K DSLR. Support/Tripod consists of various rocks, dirt, tree branches. I'm looking to get a small tripod that will clamp onto the phone.

Very artfully done Jon! That was enjoyable to watch. I like how your golden is allowed to be out on the trail in 4-paw drive with you.

edit: Do you lose your middle (fiber) skid plate on the trail or do you purposefully leave it off? Not much of a skid plate, I know, but it keeps the mechanical pieces a little cleaner.

You have inspired me to try to make a movie next time I go out. I've tried to use iMovie on my iPhone 4 but could never figure it out.

Well done on the video. Your mistake looked just like mine a while back.

iMovie on the iPhone is still a work in progress. The newest iMovie in iLife on your Mac is pretty kickass, though.

They are awesome apps. I have had awesome results from Aperture. Really cool with editing photos and making them look cool.

Mmm, pog. And shave ice, cracked seed, saimin, loco moco, Spam musubi, Portuguese sausage, I better start planning next year's trip right now...

dont forget about pon. we have an ongoing pog, pon debate. which is better??

I will be there in a month for a 3 week long needed vacation. The first places I'm going is Maui Taco, Aloha Mixed Plate, Kihei Cafe, and Honokowai Okazuya & Deli. Those places just make my mouth drool....

Then for a nice dinner at Roy's and Merriman's. If you haven't been to either, you need to as it's the best high end dinning on the island. Sunset dinner at Merriman's is a sight to see.

I can go on about places to eat in Maui for days.

I stay home and eat mostly now, I've done the eat out for years. Napili Market, Honolua Store and Maui Tacos...breakfast at the plantation if I wake up for it (it's served till 3PM but, breakfast at 2 is weird).

PON and POG...I stood at the store for like 5min looking at them, couldnt decide which I wanted to have more, so I bought both :D

So look like 100 owners have P-cars for their fun toy, and if not...then they go to Maui

lets keep the pictures flowing so the discussion doesnt get abruptly ended.

We alternate between Maui and Oahu (some years both!). Have lots of family on Oahu. All of them drive Toyotas (or Lexii) but none of them drive a Land Cruiser.

Aloha Mixed Plate on Maui and Like Like Drive Inn on Oahu are favorites of ours. Roy's is good on any island, for the more upscale (for Hawaii) family meal or date night. For the best shave ice on the islands, try Kay's Crackseed in Manoa (Oahu). Handily beats Matsumoto's (which is overrated IMHO).

Hmm, need pics of food since this is a pic thread...

edit - OK:
<pic1> i4c4lo going through Gatekeeper (Rubicon Trail) in his 100 (when it was still Gatekeeper and not blown up by the Forest Service) - my 100 now wears that rear bumper proudly!
<pic2> Me going through Gatekeeper in my old 80.
<pic3> Pork cutlet at Rainbow Drive-In, Honolulu. Also, forgot to mention malasadas from Leonard's Bakery, mmm...

I took the skid off when I put the sliders on. Didn't see any reason for it. Planning on upgrading to the full Slee set in a month or to.

I agree. There are a lot of features and functionality that the full version has that this version is missing. But for $5 I can't complain.

ah ha, Maui Taco in Napili Plaza! That's my favorite one, just down the road from the family condo but also the cleanest one on the Island and decent seating indoor/outdoor.
