I now have the engine and transmission from that truck sitting in my garage, haha. Engine has been torn down and refreshed and is sitting on a stand waiting to go in my 03 if the need ever arises. Likewise with the tranny.
Slowing probably won't work given there is a 400-500km drive ahead. Anyways, I'm not that experienced with snow but have a couple of experiences and now I'm carrying chains during winter. Below is about 35mph in icy conditions with KO2s.
Not for another month! 105 were never sold here new, but 2023 is the first year when the early 1998 105s sold elsewhere in the world will become old enough to import (cars 25 years or older can be imported to US without having to meet US emissions and safety restrictions.)
Given that 105s were all sold with under powered engines, I don't expect them to be very popular here - but I do expect to see some imported by the enthusiast community.
