got the other side done this weekend so now I can start running new brake line. I have never done it before but I bend conduit as an electrician so I hope it should be about the same. I'm guessing thou I can"t just go to my local auto parts store to buy new brake line that will fit my 74 with 76 front end. Where does one go buy line that fits.

I like your garage. Tunes, TV, Miller MIG, motorcycle, muscle car, Land Cruiser, microwave...all you need is a fridge, shower and toilet and one could live in there.

hey man you should be able to go to any auto parts store and get the correct fittings, make sure they are metric.... bring one of your old ones with you, most places will have pre made rods in different lengths but you can also buy a roll of tubing and a double flare tool and make your own, then they will be closer to the exact length and look nicer.

If you can't find what you need at the local parts store you can find just about any size tubing here:

Inline Tube - Preformed Stainless & OEM Brake Line Sets

Hope that helps.

went to auto parts store and tried a few different style of ends for my front end. The guy told me it was a bubble flared end on some of my tee fittings I brought and that the double flared ends won't work is this true or can I use the double flared ends and call it good.

I used all double flare ends on hard lines on my truck, minus the soft lines in the the calipers

Slowly but surely I will get my cruiser out of the garage and on the rode this summer. Moved a little more forward last night and started wiring the cruiser.

Nice, clean work. Great job so far Ernest.
Yours will be 10x as cool as any TrailTeams edition.

Let us know how the wiring goes, I would like to do that myself on my 78. What type of harness is that your using? Your doing a great job BTW. Every time I look at someone else's project it just gives me the boost to get something done on mine. Looking forward to seeing more pics.

Mike

It's a 21 circuit ez wiring harness. Really to big for the cruiser but was bought for my cuda originally but that project is moving a lot slower. And as an electrician times are pretty slow so instead of buying a 12 or 15 circuit harness I decided to use this one and just make it work.
