Here's a little section in the Salado Creek behind Blattman Elementary School in San Antonio.

Now let's see 'em.

Looks like fun. I don't have a helmet cam so no local ride videos from me yet.

I bought a cheap $30 helmet cam and mounted it to my K2. I was able to try it out yesterday for the first time. The sound is crap, and I need to adjust the camera angle and move my brake line.

Beacon Hill Trail #20

Camera is an Oregon Scientific ATC2K

Looks soupy, but the video quality wasn't horrible at all. Put that thing on your head and it'll look even better.

Your cheapie digicam is waaay better than mine... I'll shoot some video with my cheapie tomorrow and post its terribleness.

It was pretty muddy. Mud over frozen ground. That is why we stopped and then hauled ass down the fire road. I would like to mount it to my helmet, but it shakes too much up there and you can't see anything. My bike is pretty plush which helps a lot. I don't think it would look so great on my hard tail. I should try it though!

Posted for deer content. Low flying birds too. lol. Surprised any of them are still alive because it's been so dry around here. Very loose trails . . .

Here's the ride nspctr1 missed on Monday (might want to mute this one)

Looking forward to seeing them.

I have a GoPro and a contour HD, but I've never side-by-sided them b/c the GoPro is older, non HD, and I'm prettysure what the outcome would be.

Yooper has the Contour GPS, I think. I wish he'd post up how well it works with the bluetooth app that lets you use your phone as a viewfinder.

Here is the Contour GPS. This race was the first one I'd ever done. I completed all 7 though and came in 2nd overall in points in my class.

The guy who was recording rode to and from every race from downtown and doesn't own a car. Super nice guy.

EDIT: I should say that everyone of these was taken at Riverside State Park near Spokane WA. My favorite place to ride really. I don't know how many miles of trail there are out there.

And if you are in this area, lemme know, I have an extra bike.
