FYI - Ultra liberal in-laws that were all for gun control and anti gun.... now have ccp and each have their own hand guns. "Trumpers" was the reason. lol. So crazy to think that the media can get someone to completely change their long held beliefs through a simple fear equation.

This is what is scary. People that up until now were anti gun are going out in droves and buying guns because they are afraid of people due to political affiliation. Fear can lead people to do very stupid things, throw in fire arms and it can get out of hand in a hurry. Used to be you could put a political bumper sticker on your car if you like. Now you may get shot over it. United States of America, does not seem so United of late.

We were at Cabelas a few weeks back, the gun cases were damn near empty. Maybe 30 percent of normal stock.

Forget political stickers, I have been called xenophobic and racist just because I have an American Flag sticker on my LX. Sadly enough, it wasn't an isolated incident either. This has happened a few times in the past 2 years. Its crazy to see how just the American Flag can trigger some people. Seeing how things are going in this country I am glad I carry and stocked up long time ago to prepare for stupid.

I proudly fly an American Flag on my front porch, always have. If that makes me a xenophobe or a racist then so be it. It just seems like people are searching for a reason to be butt hurt all the time these days.

Live your life and don't sweat the small stuff. I am so glad I live out in the country away from a lot of the BS going on in cities and towns. Out here we pretty much assume everyone carries and we know damn well every farm has firearms and people that know how to use them. Keeps people civil

Was there today, still the same...did find 9mm ammo at Palmetto Armory across street.

In our county, in protest to the Dixie Flag and older NC flags with the Dixie flag in it, more and more people fly the American Flag in protest LOL.

That's unusual here - not so much on the west coast. I've seen plenty of videos of people getting upset at someone for flying Old Glory because for them it doesn't represent freedom it represents oppression.

Nope just a plain old American Flag sticker that I got from Snoopy's that they always hand out on the 4th of July. Unfortunately, I can't say I am surprised at all. I have seen and experienced some eye opening situations that past couple of years. Interestingly enough, it has always been a Karen type that says or starts something. I have yet to have a guy come up to me and say something. I find that very interesting.

Oppression living in the freest Republic ever established? A country that abolished slavery sooner than any established government in know history? Granted public assistance and the government programs that promote a lifestyle vastly different from the judeo Christian examples really do oppress people under that regime. Why is it ok to burn and defile old glory but to hell with the infidel that doesn’t bow to a colorful flag? Tearing down established norms is not how I want to exist. Systemic issues arise and should be discussed. Just chucking out the baby with the wash water is a near sighted solution to a long term problem. We just exchange one oppressed group for another. I am not for keeping anyone down or putting someone different than me in a box so what currently seems like a double standard is troubling.

Glad you qualified the statement wasn't about me. "For them" is the key part of my statement. I'm not even an American but I'm very patriotic and respectful of my adopted homeland. I don't fly the flag all the time - too lazy to put it up and take it down every day. Without a dedicated spotlight it's against code anyway. But I do put it out for any major holiday. Except for July 4th where I cheekily fly a Union Jack

I've had really good luck with Federal. They sell direct online and ship free if your order is >$149 (was $99 ). Their prices aren't as low as pre-Covid but aren't panic prices either. 50 rounds of 9mm (115 or 124 gr.) just jumped from $18.99 to $19.99 but its not horrible. They ship ~10 to 15 business days after your order so I just order every couple of weeks and have a consistent supply coming in. I just check their website every couple of days and generally find something available.

I'm seeing some places at or over $1/round for handgun target ammo?!?
