So the photo of the dust cloud was taken in Grand Mesa national park on the way up to the top of the mesa. Turns out there were 30ish miles of dirt road we traveled on getting up and back. The surface was a combination of gravel, dirt, and oiled dirt. Nowhere in all of this was a posted speed limit sign. So that dust cloud was taken while we were doing roughly 65. At one point a series of washouts created some surprising and spectacular jumps. Barely had time to tell Lizzie they were coming.
The whole experience was so fantastic I don't have the proper words to describe it. At one point we stopped to take a couple photos and grabbed this one where apparently the wheel was full of dirt and emptied itself as we halted.
