A piece of Bobby Long lives in my 80. I will dedicate next wheeling season to him. RIP

So Chris u finally gonna cut some fat of your rig next year?

No I plan on adding.

heading out to flex the 62 and the new 5" coils on my 80, shoot down some xmas trees, and burn a big ole brush pile!

Saturday was a success. Had a great time in Northern NH out on some old skidder trails. Only explored about 1/6th of the trails but had very minimal carnage.

Thanks! Front bumper was built by the previous owner but it did a great job of mowing down saplings! Lock rite will be in Thursday for the 62 should have it in Friday in time for another trip this weekend. This time just the guys!

I like people that still get out and Wheel and have enthusiasm for the adrenaline rush that we get, looks good! ;)

It was Jays maiden voyage and first time wheeling in general so plenty of adrenaline and lots of cool firsts! But here is the real reason we got to wheel. Our more sensible halves wanted Xmas trees.

So much for Tread Lightly...

So better to drop the tree (they are coming down anyway) and burn/leave it or use it for as many purposes as possible? Last time I checked I wasn't in jeopardy of the trail police closing down our property!

Merry Christmas!

Different strokes for different folks I guess. In this large web wheelin community we created we just have to watch how people perceive us. Your original post was about wheeling and made no mention of cutting trees down on personal private property. We have to watch our backs as "the man" is everywhere. We are losing great trail access across the country and need not give anyone more ammunition than they already have to attack us and our sport. I guess I'm just an old fart...

Happy Channukah!

Didn't realize it was his own property. I was referencing tread lightly more as a way of life than meaning he broke some "rule". Go through life as you would a trail. Enjoy it for the ride and leave it for others to enjoy. I'm just an old tree hugging hippie I guess.
