Here in my state and town we had a ton of bond issues like over 10 questions asking for millions and millions of dollars. When when will people realize that somebody has to pay for this crap. I can't wait to move out of this for forsaken state.

Ticks are still out. Do these dreaded things ever die?

Who bought the sweet mustard 78 40 w/ plow outta Mass? Looked like a great deal!

Driving home from Boston on the SE expressway tonite and I hear that unmistakeable sound of metal crunching maybe 50 yds ahead. Next thing I know there's a pair of headlights pointed at me in my lane and a car right behind me going 65. Amazingly, all three lanes of traffic manage to stop or swerve. Glad I didn't have to swerve like that in the 40!

Starter failed me again on the cruiser.. this time i was in a hurry and opted for the car instead.

Starter rebuild time i guess.
then i gotta get me some shift solonoids..

Micheal I never thought there was any malice intended.
It does however surprise me that you never thought of "Our" Fall Gathering when you renamed your event considering that your company has been a sponsor of our event in the past and since we sent down Tshirts, stickers and other Fall Gathering apparel to your shop last Fall as a thank you.

I acknowledge that the probability of us sharing many of the same participants are not high with our events being a thousand plus miles from each other but that's not really the issue.

I hope that you as a business owner can understand my protective nature about our club's event.
It's an event that myself, my board of directors and countless volunteers before us have worked hard to establish as a marquee Toyota enthusiast's event over it's ten plus years history.

When I'm at different events in different regions I have a number of people state that they would love to make our Fall Gathering some year so it's become more than just a North East thing.
It's made it's way into Toyota trails a number of times and just recently we had Offroad Adventure Magazine profiling our event.

We can all appreciate an owner of a business that shows it's support to it's customers and can understand the reasoning of changing your event's name.

I hope that an understanding comes from this conversation and that in the future you may reconsider your event's name.

Oh and don't pay any attention to LCCruiser, he's senile.

Getting jabs from both sides of the thread hurts deeply. Bob, I can truthfully say I don't remember ever being senile. So there. :flipoff2: EG

Fall Crawl seems to be a generic term used everywhere.

Spotted on our the Florida Trip

We had a great time in the Keys, the fishing was great and we had a nice place to stay right on the water with our own boat.

We visited with relatives that are even older than EG. I keep threatening the Saint that I'm not staying in NH for another winter and, for some reason, she insists that I stay up here with her. Love is blind.

Who doesn't use their big Audi sedan as a combination daily driver, golf cart and surf board transporter?

Looks like there must be alot of junk in the trunk with it being full to the sills in the rear seat based on the rear rake bias.

Notice the winch cover on the front - it's a German off-road accessories company .

Also the font clip is totally different from our US version. It's more aerodynamic with better sight lines looking forward.

How come Toyota doesn't think we would buy these vehicles in the US? Nearly 30 MPG with lots of torque.

I'd love one for my next Moab trip, even with the IFS.

NO! My dog got one this week and it hasn't been over 40 when he's been out. Tick's suck!

We were talking about the Fall Gathering, not the Fall Crawl....Old age strikes again!
