My buddies have a pig roaster etc trailer and are amazing chefs. They also tow it with their 60. I'm sure they would charge less than a local caterer. I can get a rough price if the club is interested. Just need a rough head count.
 
Home alone until Thursday. No "honey-do" list.
Looks like some guilt free shop time is in order. :lol:
 
Wood vs steel deck trailer?
 
wood is nice cuz things don't slide as easily off the trailer... ie chains if you leave them in a pile in the middle of the trailer they don't tend to move, on a steel deck they'll be on the ground after the first turn....

steel is slippery when wet, and you add a bit of oil or gear lube- FORGET it you'll be on your ass fast then Nate flipping over on the trails... :D:flipoff2:

wood's also cheap and easy, and very easy to replace... steel takes a bit more to 'fix'

but it all comes down to preference and purpose... :clap::clap:

I know he was looking for an open deck originally. I have an open deck but wish I had a full deck. It would make the trailer more useful.
 
Thats a possibility. But I might switch trailers at some point and go with a wooden deck. .

Loud rumble where I was in Portland, lots of noise and little to no movement in limerick. But was enough to send the wife into hyper-craze without me there.

I'm considering this for a couple of reasons.
1. We are going to be moving in the next year and I need to put the 45 in storage so we can put the house up for sale so I don't have a ton of cruiser parts laying around.
2. A 40 would probably suit the family better with the two kids.
3. I would be able to drive it sooner.
4. I just don't have the time to devote to this both my projects at the moment.

I'm just wondering if I'll see enough cash out of the 45 to even close to this.
