Worthless without PICS!!!!!!!!
Congrats!!

don't have any picks right now of my own but here is the frame off write up of it from the PO https://forum.ih8mud.com/60-series-wagons/152561-landcruisin60s-total-frame-off-rebuild.html

plan is to strip down the interior, soa, lock it and have some fun:steer:

i remember following the build thread. i also remember someone saying their 4 runner was their first truck and that it would be in the fam forever yadda yadda yadda... maybe when an 80 showed up in his driveway? who could that be? :meh:

J/K... you will love the cavernous interior.

i myself happened to be obsessed with these at the moment:

you are soooo right pete:D have always wanted a 60 for screwing around with, it was to good to pass up:cool:

passed a couple of those in the ditch last Thursday driving home. Great cars in a high traction environment, caskets in lesser ones.

so true they are amazing on hot pavement but in snow the traction control is useless i had my friends 5 series stuck on flat ground with a half inch of snow in his driveway once

I have a 328i with traction control and never got stuck. It's all in the tires....

most likely the e30 3 series or e36 (more recent)... not the M model. but yes, the late 80's versions with no traction control to speak of are dangerous as hell in show.

you got it dave.

the traction control on the 3 models i have driven consistently, current 5 series, previous model 5 series and current 3 series have all been impeccable in the snow (with a sensible driver)

Not a 325?

nope, the E30 M3 - love that thing with the s14 4 banger. Love it.

he speaks the gospel, do true. all in the tires.

I don't know what model was in the ditch but it definitely looked new.

Thursday's drive was the first winter weather drive for me in the new sled and it was a little nerve racking to say the least. Not because the car had any issues at all. But it was the first time I was out in freezing rain without 1/4" plate surrounding me.

The PEASE photo is going to be on Kimmel tonight!!!!!

problem was the car would not let the tires spin would maybe spin a half an inch and break half in and break repeat  the carola they had next to it with balding tires did fine:lol: may have been something wrong with the traction control but the car was only 6 mo. old

Once again Carolla wins ;) BTW...did you guys know that the Carolla is the most sold car/truck ever!

Nice little red car Dave, even if I am not into beamers, I can appreciate that much. You going to make ramps to drive it up into the 80
