the stock rims are 8" wide with a 4.25" backspacing. When calculating backspacing you include the lip on the rim which adds .25" on each side to the rims width. So its: 8.0"+.25"+.25"/2=4.25" backspacing or zero offset.

If you go with a "regular" battery I've heard nothing but good about the NAPA golds as well.

I'd like to add a dual setup to my 80 as well since it sits so long so often. Can never have too much juice. :)

Nat,

Did you go with new wheels when you got your TrXus? 16's? I'm doing some window shopping and want to go to a 16" wheel and 35x12.5-16 TrXus MT's. I just have no idea what offset or wheel width (steelies)

just painted the stock 16 aluminum rims like the looks of them and they are abused world wide :D if i were you i would just look for some stock 80 rims they are most likely stronger then most after market rims too

So my brand-new hillbilly neighbors have been putting up a horrendous christmas light display for the last 3 weeks. They've had an inflatable snowman on the lawn for weeks and it fell on it's side the first day and is still laying there. They leave the lights on 24-7 so just burning through electricity. Ladders all over the front of the house yet they barely use them but insist on keeping them up. Obviously jackasses.

Well, they had the letters "PE" written on the top left corner of their roof. They started spelling something and must've gotten cold or drunk and stopped. Anyway, they had the letters "PE" on their roof which was a little joke around the hood that we'd all like to PE on their house. They topped that yesterday....

I guessed they were going to write "Peace On Earth" on the roof. Last night before bed I peeked out and they must've gotten cold or drunk again cuz they now have "PEAS" on the roof. They're obviously spelling peace wrong or they really love peas.

Either way it's sucking the Xmas spirit out of the hood and I really want to punch this guy.

the chirstmas cheer would be to go out help the poor guy ) you need anger management.

I dropped the lv off this morning to get the final touches done and get its safety inspection. we will see how it goes.

Never met the guy so introducing myself and saying "Merrry Christmas, learn how to spell" would only really bring me Christmas cheer and not him. That's selfish on my part. I'll be right back.....

How about a wrapped Dr. Suess ABC's book? Still had the christmas spirit and might be helpful.

I dunno, man. Sound like people unlikely to get angry if you happen to be using a hammer or impact wrench on a truck outside at 11pm on a tues.

Hillbillies like trucks. I'm sure you can have a good time having a drink and talking trucks, just talk about smashing things and don't mention "Toyota".

Send them Hooked on Phonics and a Webster's dictionary in an unmarked box.

I have tears due to laughter. Cant help think of "Christmas Vacation"...you know the guy with the RV. Never gets old I think because (at least I do) have that element in somewhere in the family tree. John if you want, I can bring my motorhome down and park it in the street.

I just got home. The guy is on the roof right now putting up the "e" in "Pease" Can't believe that out of the 4 people that live there, none of them can spell. Screw the Christmas spirit....I have an English degree and am personally offended at this point.

Can't wait for the sun to go down and get pics of it.

Maybe you should put lights on your roof - Pease off!

They can't spell, but they do have the right idea with the message, even though it's creating the opposite response in you. Go give him a hug man!

that's outstanding. we definitely need pics....

Why not just go over and see what's up, and then politely mention that he spelled it wrong?

No need to be offend if someone can't spell...at least he's got his heart in the right place...just my .02

It's a Christmas Mirakle!!!!

Did you ever hear the expression that they have so many lights it looks like an airport? :)

Maybe they're from Portsmouth and miss the old neighborhood: Pease

Wow...that's hard to ignore.

Next time you see him, just politely let them know it's wrong...it's not the end of the world.

I'm really not mad. I was being slightly sarcastic earlier.

My buddy works for the Jimmy KImmel show. I shot some video of it and I think it will be on in the next few days
