went down to the DMV to re-title my 40 in anticipation of driving it this year. They want to fine me .04 on the sales tax for every day since the purchase. It's been 4 1/2 years.

Can't you just show up with a new bill of sale? Is the current title dated?

I'm guessing it would be 4 cents on the dollar of sales tax for 4.5 years. Do the math and that is more than the truck is worth.

Iwas told that Jason's figuring is correct. I have a few plans in place and its very likely MA wont see any revenue at all from this truck.

Register it in vermont just did that with my pickup. All they need is a bill of sale and no address .
