How much does a gallon of finished syrup sell for??

$45 per gallon . We did not freeze the last couple of nights so low sap flow. We are going to boil today , that should put us up over 700 gallons for the year. weather looks good for good sap runs through the end of next week-then too warm.

Happy birthday dave!!!!

I went to school in charleston SC. great town. not sure its right for a 2 year old. if you can get a place out on Kiawa , Foley beach or Wild Dunes, sulivan's island on the other side. but down town charleston is like Downtown Boston. surround by water on all sides but not water you ever want to jump into. not sober anyway. Charleston has an aquarium and tons of history. and nothing beats going to moultrie park and seeing the CofC girls sun bathing. but I digress.
if you have never been there its worth a visit. water is still a bit chilly but not bad I was always in the water in january while there with a shorty and by April I was in shorts and a spray top or a Tee shirt.
i hate florida but it might be warmer water

Actually found a house in Marathon in the Keys in FL. 3 bedroom house with a pool and opposite Sombrero beach which is apparently the nicest around. Negotiated 50% off since it wasn't rented out and it's for the last week of the season. Has a big playground at the park across the street too.

I don't care if I go to Cleveland, just need to get away for a while.

oddball truck in MA

Found this on Craigslist for $1500. Was a camper but now is a flatbed.

1975 TOYOTA FUN TRUCK 1 ton W/rear duallies PICS AVAILABLE

It's an odd one for sure but could be a good junk hauler or landscraping truck for cheap

Theres a guy near me that has one like that. I think its a little newer like and 1980 or something. He uses it in this lawnmower repair business. Will go out to your place and pickup your riding mower.

My 6 year old son has entered "The Age of Irresponsibility." It's one thing after another, forgetting his boots or gloves or backpack or what have you, where's your hat? I don't know. Why are you wearing your Crocs outside? I forgot my boots. Why didn't you tell me your gloves were soaked so we could dry them last night? I don't know.

This morning we dropped him off at the bus and realized he didn't bring his backpack and lunch with him. (our house is 1/2 hr from the bus stop, his school another 15+min. from there.)

So I had to go to the store, get him lunch and snacks, and drive it out to his school. My dad would have let me go hungry. My wife didn't like that idea.

I get that he's 6, but he's always been very responsible about this stuff, but lately it's just one thing after another.

Did I mention that the dog is most likely tearing his backpack and soft lunchbox to shreds right now to get to his peanut butter sandwich? It's like doggy Christmas for her I bet.

as there minds grow and start thinking about new things they stray from the optimal parent endorsed path. one of my 5 year olds has been unleashing horrific tantrums 2-3 times a day lately. we think they are food related she seems to burn through food fast but knowing the problem only helps so much.
just got to grin and bear it :) the back of my wife's car she has extra's of everything form glooves to pants to snacks to wet wipes to toys she try's to be prepared for everything. and the girls test her limits. cause they can.

Ian's 17 and still hasn't out-grown this phase.
Good Luck!!

I was driving yesterday thru Wellesley, MA downtown and saw a mint lifted, soft top 40 rolling through town. It was in amazing condition. As it drive by I realized it had neon hot pink paint. This made me sad.

In my endless journey of cruiser douchebaggery, I think I'm going to keep the BJ40 at least for the summer. It's super nice and I'm looking forward to having the top off and cruising around. Sorta burned myself out after the Aussie container deal and need to have some cruiser fun rather than cruiser work.

Leaning towards selling the 70. Can't keep both. It's not even out of customs. Need to take a break and enjoy the scenery for a while.
