I'm Daniel Green and I'm a Land Cruiser tragic. Have been since my old man came home in a 1979 BJ40 when I was nine. Split rims, dune beige and that B-engine rattle!
Seven Land Cruisers and one Land Cruiser short film later we decided to make a feature length road movie across the outback. Written, directed and funded by me [this last part I do not recommend
]. It's a father-son road movie in a 1970 FJ45.
It's due to for release in the second half of next year. We're kicking off the cinema release leg with a 3000 mi. road trip from Central Queensland to Central Victoria, showing in outback theatres and drive-ins. We're linking up with the Long Drive For Drought while we're there! Soon after the film will be available for streaming, thanks to our distributors Radioactive Pictures.
Mud is the source of all things Land Cruiser, so this thread is our way of keeping Mudders updated and my personal way of saying thanks for all the help over the years. Thanks to @woody for starting the forum and for letting me post here. If it weren't for Mud I'd still be looking for my 10mm amongst swivel hub parts..

Dan Simpson @mtn biker and I just finished an episode for his Classic Land Cruisers podcast where we talk Dads, sons, Cruisers, Straya and properly seating 2F distributors. Episode coming soon!
I'll update this thread as thing progress, but in the mean time you can check out the film online:
