The back of my seats get scuffed and scratched all the time. It's not a big thing but I re-covered the panel and for me, it's a big improvement. I selected a fabric (1 yard) that blends with the black leather and my front Escape Gear seat covers. No glue, just cut to panel size (plus 3 inches) and tuck the fabric of your choice.

Good stuff! I noticed the later LX's have carpet on the backs of the chairs. Makes sense as my seatbacks equally get beat up. Fortunately no tears or anything yet, but might need to borrow your idea down the road.
 
Very cool idea, I will definitely borrow this. I dig your fabric choice, it reminds me of the older FWC fabric.

The backs are carpeted in the 2016+. You can swap the covers on your earlier seats but these parts are not cheap, ~$130 per seat so the option presented here is significantly less expensive. And probably easier than RnR.

Yes sir! I use mine as Velcro molle system.
Buy bulk Velcro and you can be tactical too. Lol
