I'm sure I posted this earlier in this thread, but in case I didn't, this is pretty cool.
ONE thing I'll give Disney credit for is how well they choreographed the dogfight sequences (with the exception of the bombing run that opened up Episode VIII. That was shjt) and used impressive visual effects.

I attribute much of that to Tony Gilroy. He sticks to a school of thought that aggressive, overall competent villains makes for better drama and stronger storytelling. Frankly I believe him 100%. If Disney had put John Favreau and him in charge of LucasFilm from the get-go (and for the chef's kiss, talk Timothy Zahn into coming in to script the sequel trilogy), they would've been practically printing money.
Rouge 1 was the one Star Wars movie where you knew there wasn’t going to be a sequel!
There was supposed to be the Rogue Squadron series, but leave it to Disney to shjtcan the projects that people actually WANT and give us crap like The Wokelite.
