I just ordered replacements for these...however, Kurt only had 3 of them in stock. Now that they have arrived, I'm confused which are which. The two front axel to drum lines are easy as they are shorter and identical. The longer soft line, well, there is no identifying marking on the package nor on the order from Kurt. Looking under the truck, I see that the longer front and back soft line appear to be the same length and without inspecting super closely appear to have the same couplings. Are they not the same line? I ask because I would like to change all four of these 50 year old lines and at this point, I need to know what to ask for.

Thank you.

I just replied to your email. You ordered the rear line:

Chassis to Rear Axle (1 Required)
7/1970 - 10/1984 - Part# BRH02230 - $28.50/each (Japanese)
Cruiser Outfitters

The front is the BRH02078 which we are unfortunately out of stock on. It is very likely the BRH02230 would be direct fit but I don't have a 71 here to verify right now. Let us know if you'd like to try it!

Hope that clears things up!

Thanks Kurt! It looks the same. I'll let you know. MIght be a PO did some improvising. Or maybe I did but don't remember. That's always possible.

It would be great for us to update our application if it fits now that the BRH02078 has been discontinued from our Japanese supplier

I'll try my best. I wanted to wait until I had all four lines before I dug in to the brake system, to avoid having to bleed it twice. Let me see what I can get up to.
