The family and I decided to go to Big Bend for thankgiven, it was the first time for us and it was worth it every secong, the cruiser did great considering we did 170 miles of back roads from easy to a couple of places where i have to used the lockers.
I can't wait to come back, hopefully we can plan a cruiser trip together before it gets misery hot again.
Here is a few pictures.

That looked like a cool time for you guys. Told the wife the other day- Maybe I should build an expedition type vehicle. :hhmm:

Check out the Davis Mountains area and also New Mexico. We'll be headed out there (or Colorado) next year for another week long family trip.

Having lived most of my days in El Paso, seeing those pics brought back memories. Gotta love the Chihuahua Desert.

Nice!

I haven't been out there in years, so a trip is overdue. Gets cold at night out there in November though!
Especially if you are tent camping!

Where did you camp, in the national park?

That looks like a blast.

Guadalupe Mountains are spectacular. One of the best features is that there aren't very many people there. They say it's the least utilized national park in the entire park system. I backpack in the primitive areas every couple of years. You rarely see another human being once you reach the higher elevation trails. Lots of black bear and rattlesnakes. The bear will run from you. The rattlesnakes won't.
