It has been something that I have taken for granted and have not said how thanksful I am of being part of this community. From the great events, to the great people and the great friendships that we have develop. I have been impressed with the level of organization of the evets, the involment of the organizors, and the results in each event. At the end of the day it is what we are "A Drinking Club with a Land Cruiser Problem" That is the best frace I have heard to describe us. It hit me today when I went and bought a part for my 4runner and I saved 25% of the cost of the part. It was not just because the savings that I got. It was because all the behind the scenes that takes to get to the point of being recognized as a strong club in the Land Cruiser community and suppliers. I thanks the people that every day spend time of their already busy schedule to get to what ONSC is today.

I will work harder to get more involved in the club. Let me know how i can help and keep up the good work. I need business cards to give to the cool cruisers that i see every day here in Charlotte.

Now, It is time to get on Craigslist and buy more "Junk" HHEHEHE and drink!

I'm right there with you, Rafael. This is a great group of people - both the ones who's names we see regularly on the forum and the ones who don't post much but show up to all the events they can manage, which can be quite difficult. The group is VERY accepting of folks who share the interest but can't always manage the time. That's freaking awesome. I've tried to be involved in other organizations for "cough", other brands, and felt chastised for my "lack of allegiance" to the brand and my inability to commit to 100% of the club activities. With ONSC, I miss most events, show up for 20 minutes to others and people are still happy to see me, as far as I can tell. It seems the LC sickness only affects good people.

I'll hoist a pint in ONSC's honor tonight.

This club has been and continues to be a great work in progress that i'm proud to be a part of.
I know that we've come a very long way since Greg and a few others came up with making a NC cruiser club. It's come a long way since Greg first asked me 4 years ago if I wanted to get involved in the club and try to get more membership and interest in the Charlotte region so they could expand past High Point/Winston.
This really is a great club and we do try hard to make all feel as welcome as possible and I think its working since over half of our members are transplants from other states. We try to make it as family friendly as possible which is one of the biggest compliments we get from people visiting us from other clubs.

I truly thank everyone that helps in this club to make it better every year.

I have been involved in many clubs of one form or another over the years, been president of an RC flying club. I can say without reservation that The ONSC group is hands down the best club I have been around.

The spirit of this club is what makes the difference. All members I have met have been very nice and above all welcoming to all those that are involved and those that are not as well. This club makes a person feel like family. I remember the first time I met the club at Uharrie. Heather and I were welcomed with open arms, treated to a feast and treated like, well, family.

You guys and gals are the best, change nothing :)

Thanks to all that have worked in a BOD position and to those that show up to the events! I'm sure Greg will chime in!

I too share the same thoughts to the group, as Heather and I had also looked for a group of like-minded people to hang out with. It wasn't until I bought into the addiction with the first 40, that I found all you guys and gals!

With all that being said, remember that we'll start asking for nominations for all positions next month. I'd like to see activity on all BOD positions and some great voting turnout, just to make sure we have active participation in the club.

We'll also open a thread to give suggestions and input to the schedule for next year.

Some people have been in the BOD for a while and might like to set back and give up the reigns for awhile...
