When Tina and I were traveling across the country back in August, we spent a pleasant evening with Bionic Cruiser, pappy, Source3 and a few other HDC members. Source3 gave us a CD of the Linux operating system, which was something way out on the periphery of things we'd vaguely heard about at that point.

Fast forwards two months and our otherwise capable HP contracted a serious case of a trojan horse. My wife spent weeks tracking down all the different systems it was going into, without any promising leads on getting rid of it. We'd backed up our files long before things got bad, so finally she decided to just reformat the computer. Except the bugger kept coming back saying "HI MARK!"

So out went Windows, and in went Linux. A brave new world!
