nice job landing back on your wheels and keeping it together!

That was awesome! Nice job.

Did your hat survive?

Extra points for the self-recovery. So you eased right up it the second try, right? :steer:

 Good work man. You kept the rubber side down in the end!

I take it you kept your hands and feet inside the vehicle?

BUT BUT BUT..........

The guys at you know where would tell you that you needed more triangulation and that the cage is dangerous and should have been MPI'ed Magnafluxed, x-rayed and welded by NASA engineers, which they all are.

Nice job, cage looks like it didn't even deform.

And they would be correct. Proper engineering/build makes a huge difference in cage strength.

Of course the flip side is that most rolls (as this one was) are slow motion and pretty easy on the cage all things considered.

So in reality, anything is better than nothing..

But it never happens that way, we go round and round on engineering when the majority touting that view point have never done it themselves (Meaning the extra steps, not the fabrication).

I don't do high speed though, both of my rolls have been slow speed.

rick, you need to find reverse faster! :flipoff2:

cool you got that on video and everything/everybody survived intact. even my little neon green child you've got bolted in there. :grinpimp:

Or he bought the cage from Metal Tech knowing it will stand up to the test using proper tubing size and material :flipoff2:

I can attest to the MT FJ40 cage. I put one in a BJ42 for a customer, very stout product!

I have a metal tech cage in my orange 60 and it has been rolled countless times with no issues with the cage.

Yep, metal tech. I had to custom fit it into my hybrid 45 and tie it into the frame. And the metal tech nose protector/ stinger, worked perfect. I had the windshield tied down to the hood and the weight of the motor kept the roll all weight forward, the hood got dented up a little on the left and right but didnt touch the radiator or the windshield ..

Thats called the quick clean out....what ever didn't fall out was properly tied down! ;)
